  • Project Description: This project aims to reduce disaster risks for vulnerable communities, especially children, by improving access to safe water, providing a secure venue for events, and supporting Typhoon Yagi recovery through resilient housing. It focuses on rebuilding and repairing homes with quality materials and technical guidance to ensure safety and disaster preparedness.

  • Project location: Pa Ham, Huoi Mi, Nam Nen, and Muong Cha commune, Dien Bien province, Vietnam 
  • Project duration: 3 years 
  • Project budget: USD 500,000 
  • Project description: This project focuses on empowering communities to understand and reduce disaster risks through capacity building and strengthening local response teams. It also enhances safety in schools by improving infrastructure, promoting effective school safety management, and integrating disaster risk reduction education to build a culture of resilience among students and staff.
