We work in partnership with local authorities and communities to improve the well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable, toward a world where every child can experience life in all its fullness.
World Vision International (WVI) United States – Representative Office in Vietnam has been implementing Area Program activities in Ba Thuoc District since 2009. Currently, the Ba Thuoc 2 Area Program (2024–2027) is implementing projects in the areas of Nutrition and Health, Child Protection and Child Participation, Sustainable Livelihoods, Community Engagement, and Child Sponsorship across three target communes: Co Lung Commune, Pu Luong Commune, and Quy Luong Commune in Thanh Hoa Province.
Based on community needs, during Fiscal Year 2026, the Ba Thuoc 2 Area Program will support the construction of a school kitchen facility at Co Lung Secondary School. A key feature of this initiative is the participation of 14 students from The University of Hong Kong, who will join the project as part of a volunteer program.
To facilitate the successful implementation of this initiative, three Vietnamese volunteers will be recruited to support the Hong Kong students throughout their volunteer engagement at Co Lung Secondary School, Co Lung Commune, Thanh Hoa Province.
